Abhyanga: Ayurvedic Warm Oil Massage

In this therapy, medicated (herbal) oils are vigorously massaged into the body by one or two therapists with specialized strokes. This type of massage pacifies vata in general, promoting cleansing, healing, and rejuvenation. It is usually followed by a full body steam to help the body absorb the oils even deeper, and to remove toxins. Highly relaxing and rejuvenating!

Shila Abhyanga: Ayurvedic Hot Stone Massage

This is an Ayurvedic therapy used by the yogis and rishis of ancient India to promote healing and longevity by releasing tension and connecting the flow of prana (vital energy) throughout the body. It promotes balance on the physical and emotional levels. Sessions involve the use of Ayurvedic herbal oils and the application of water-heated basalt stones of varying sizes to key points on the body, giving a deep massage and creating sensations of comfort and warmth. This type of massage stimulates the circulatory system. softens and relaxes muscles, helps to release toxins, induces a state of deep relaxation, and relieves pain and muscle spasms. Marma Chikitsa: Ayurvedic Energy Point Therapy

Marma points serve as the bridge between the physical body and its more subtle energy pathways, called nadis. This therapy is aimed at stimulating and revitalizing specific organs and systems, while releasing blocked energy and promoting flexibility. Sessions consist of Ayurvedic warm oil massage, with an emphasis on key marma points depending on your needs, and include the use of Ayurvedic essential oils, passive yoga therapy and application of mild heat on specific (sore) areas.

This is a localized application of steam with herbal decoctions and medicated oils. Marma Massage: an Invigorating and Energizing Ayurvedic Massage

This therapy is a specialized form of Ayurvedic massage.
